Georgette Muller
Georgette Muller is the director of Liz's Chemo Survival Kits. She is an educator and a mother of two teenage daughters. A year ago, when her neighbor was diagnosed with cancer, she called on long time friend and cancer survivor, "Liz" for help. After witnessing Liz run to several stores I order to collect various items for the neighbor, Georgette conceived the idea for "Liz's Chemo Survival Kits" – a compilation of items designed to help alleviate the side effects of cancer treatment.
Elizabeth "Liz" Bauerlein
Elizabeth "Liz" Bauerlein is the coordinator of Liz's Chemo Survival Kits. She is an educator and a cancer survivor. Elizabeth was diagnosed in 2006 with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Since her first chemo she has had 2 reoccurrences, 2 stem cell transplants, radiation and more chemo protocols than she would like to think about. She also has the techniques to deal with nausea, hair loss, and the sensitivity to smells, sounds and tastes, as well as the knowledge of how to keep it all organized. After Georgette approached her with the idea for LCSK, Liz was thrilled to be able to turn her bout with cancer into a positive experience. She proceeded to write up lists outlining all of the various things that had helped during her treatment. The Chemo Survival Kit is the first of many she hopes to be able to share with others who are undergoing treatment.
